The service

Do you book the flights for me?

No, and I never ask for your logins or your card. You book it yourself in your own accounts. The report gives you the exact steps: which program to book through, what to transfer, in what order, and what to check before you transfer anything.

Will my points cover the whole trip?

Usually not, and I won't pretend otherwise.

I can't promise your points will cover the whole trip. Often they cover a meaningful piece of it – the flights, a few nights, or one traveler's ticket – and the report shows exactly how far they go and what the rest would cost.

Which points do you work with?

Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One, Citi ThankYou, Bilt and Wells Fargo Rewards, plus any airline miles and hotel points you already have. Tell me rough balances on the form and I work out which to spend and which to leave alone. Round numbers are fine.

Do you search hotels too?

Yes. You choose flights, hotels or both at the start of the form. Hotels are often where points go furthest, and many award services don't search them at all.

Is this worth it for a short domestic flight?

Often not, and I'd rather say so upfront. On a cheap economy route your card's travel portal already gives you about a cent a point, so there's little for me to beat. This pays off on long-haul trips, premium cabins, several travelers, or a long hotel stay.

Do we need to get on a call?

No. It all happens through a short form and a written report, so you can read it and act on it whenever suits you. If anything in the report isn't clear, email me and I'll explain it in writing.

Timing and availability

How fast do I get it?

Within 72 hours on most orders, and within 5 days for a complex trip (5 or more travelers, or flights into or out of more than one city). It arrives by email as a PDF you can read on your phone or print and keep open while you book.

How far ahead can you search?

About 11 months for flights. Airlines only load award seats on a fixed calendar, roughly 330 days before departure, so a trip further out has nothing to search yet. If yours is too early, I refund you and tell you the date to come back.

Hotels usually open a little earlier than flights, so a hotels-only order can sometimes go ahead when flights can’t.

What if the space is gone by the time I book?

If the space is gone by the time you go to book, email me within 7 days and I’ll re-run the search at no charge. Award seats are live inventory and I can't hold one. Everything I find is timestamped so you know exactly when I saw it, which is why booking promptly matters.

Payment and refunds

How do I pay?

By card at the end of the order form. Payment is handled by Stripe, so your card details never reach me. You pay the fee for the research only. Taxes and fees on the booking itself are paid to the airline or hotel when you book.

What if you can't find anything?

If I can't find anything that meets your criteria, you get a full refund. I'll still send a short write-up on why the trip is hard and what would unlock it, usually different dates, a nearby airport or a different cabin. That part costs you nothing.

Do you ever hold money for my travel?

No. The only thing you pay me is the research fee. Every booking is made and paid for by you, directly with the airline, hotel or loyalty program.
